The Manager of the Kariba North Bank Power Station has revealed that the early onset of rains has contributed an additional 5 centimeters to the water levels of the Kariba Dam, benefiting hydropower generation.

Speaking at a presentation ahead of the Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communications’ tour of the Kariba Dam in Siavonga, Mr. Kaseba stated, however, that low power generation will continue until the end of February 2025.

Meanwhile, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Media, Thabo Kawana, emphasized that as Zambia works towards sustainable economic growth, effective communication is becoming increasingly crucial to enhance transparency across all sectors.
