The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) in Zambia, has reduced pump prices of diesel by K1.64 per litre from the current pump price of K26. 28 per litre to K24. 64.
The regulator has also reduced prices of Kerosene by K1.82, from the current pump price of K22.29 to K20.47.
Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka, ERB Board Chairperson Raynolds Bowa says petrol prices remain unchanged at K 27.59 per litre.
Mr. Bowa says the reduction is because of the downward trend in International oil prices and appreciation of the Zambian Kwacha.
