Diamond TV’s Expansion Launch into Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Malawi was held on Wednesday night at the Taj Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka.
Tourism Minister Rodney Sikumba officiated the event that was attended by several executives from government and business community.
Mr. Sikumba lauded the six-year-old television station for setting a pace in the broadcasting sector.
Stakeholders have hailed the development they say is a driver of Pan-Africanism.
The development that is led by Multichoice Africa in partnership with Diamond TV now enables viewers from the four countries to access the station’s unique programming.
The milestone will promote Zambia’s culture, tourism, creative space and offer diverse interactive services via prime-news, current affairs, documentaries and movies.
