The Lusaka High Court has granted Patriotic Front Secretary General, Raphael Nakacinda, an Ex-Parte order restraining Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa from masquerading as Party functionary leader.

In an affidavit filed before court by Mr. Nakacinda, Mr. Sampa has further been restrained from approaching the Registrar of Societies to effect any changes to the register of members of the Patriotic Front.

On Tuesday, Mr. Sampa held a convention at Mulungushi International Conference Center in Lusaka, where he emerged victorious with over 2,000 votes cast in his favour.

The Patriotic Front have described the convention as illegal and have since expelled Mr. Sampa from the party.
