The murder trial of a 25-year-old woman, Sibeso Akaliwa, has commenced at the Lusaka High Court.
Akaliwa was an employee at a Rubis Service Station in Lusaka’s Kalingalinga area at the time of the incident, where she worked as a fuel attendant.
She was gruesomely murdered on July 24, 2025, by thieves who broke into the filling station, leaving her two young girls orphaned.
Among the eight suspects facing trial is a juvenile.
As a result, the media has been barred from covering the proceedings, which are being held in camera.
