COURT OF APPEAL RESTRICT SAMPAS POWERS IN PF DISPUTES

.

The Court of Appeal has issued an interim order restraining Miles Bwalya Sampa, the Patriotic Front (PF) faction Deputy Secretary General, from interfering with Morgan Ng’ona’s role as Secretary General and altering party records at the Registrar of Societies.

This follows an interim injunction filed by Faction PF Secretary General Morgan Ngona, as he appeals the dismissal of PF leadership main matter and the entire case by high court Judge Conceptor Zulu, for want of prosecution, where he was challenging his expulsion as party SG by Mr Sampa.

However Justice Kelvin Muzenga has granted Morgan Ngona an exparte restraining Mr Sampa from dismissing him as Secretary General pending court determination.

The court has referred the matter to the full court for inter parte hearing on 14th April 2026, putting the party’s internal dispute under judicial control pending hearing.

Recently, Miles shared a copy of a list consisting of office bearers, deleting Mr Ngona. He wrote to the registrar of Society to amend the PF list of office bearers.
