Former Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo has been acquitted by the Lusaka Magistrate Court in a matter he allegedly interfered with state witnesses.

In this Matter Mr. Lusambo faced three counts of attempting to tamper with witnesses who were set to testify against him in a case involving accusations of obtaining property through proceeds of crime and tax evasion, a matter before Magistrate Faides Hamaundu.

When the matter was presented for judgment before Magistrate Trevor Kasanda, the court found insufficient evidence to convict Mr Lusambo, leading to his acquittal on all counts.
