Zambia has been placed in Group B of the 2026 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s Championship alongside Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Eswatini.
The draw conducted on February 4 has revealed hosts South Africa will face Malawi, Lesotho, and Angola in Group A, while Group C comprises Mozambique, Namibia, and Madagascar.
Zambia will field an all-local squad as Head Coach Nora Hauptle will use the key players for the UAE Invitational tournament, which coincides with the regional showpiece.
The Invitational tournament will be used as preparation for the WAFCON set for March 2026.
Meanwhile, the COSAFA Women’s Championship will be held in Polokwane, South Africa, from February 18 to March 1, 2026.
