The Zambia Senior Men’s National Team Head Coach Avram Grant has commended his boys for showing consistent effort and improvement.
Speaking ahead of today’s friendly game against Uganda at 17hrs, Grant says if the team continues on this trajectory chances of scaling up to POT 2 on the continental football stage are high.
He adds that today’s fixture is crucial to building upon preparation for the AFCON tournament as Zambia has been pitted in a tough group.
Meanwhile, Team Doctor, Wesley Ngongo, has confirmed that Midfielder, Kelvin Kapumbu, has been ruled out of the game against Uganda following a strain on his hamstring while veteran defender, Stoppila Sunzu, is recovering from his injury with the possibility of returning.
