
The Chipolopolo have beaten Togo 2-0 in their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Group I qualifier at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Albert Kangwanda opened the scoring for Zambia before Elia Mandanji sealed the victory with a second goal in the 90+4th minute, following a brilliant assist from Mathews Banda.
The victory gives Zambia three points from two matches after the 3-1 defeat to Algeria in their opening Group I fixture.
Zambia now occupy second position in Group I with three points, level with Togo but ahead on goal difference.
Algeria lead the group with four points, while Burundi sit fourth with one point.
