The Chipata Magistrate Court has heard that Jairos Mtonga, a Guidance and Counseling, History and Civic Education teacher is not man enough and physically challenged on matters that suggest sex.
This is according to the letter of plea to the Human Resource and the Headteacher of Eastern Girls Technical School allegedly authored by Jairos Mtonga, which was read in court during trial.
In this case, Jairos Mtonga 48 is facing one count of defilement of a minor.
When the Headteacher, Lilian Kapiri testified before court, he informed the court that Mr. Mtonga had allegedly written a letter pleading for help on the matter.
Parts of the contents of the letter read before the court stated that he was physically impairment, a secret only known by his wife who accepted him.
The letter further read that exposing his private part to the whole world would torment him.
Trial continues and the case has adjourned to 23rd and 24th November 2022.
