A 30-year-old Barber of Chinsali in Northern Province has been found guilty of defiling his 9-year-old biological daughter.
Davies Mwaba was charged with defilement, contrary to section 138 of the laws of Zambia.
Particulars of the offense are that on dates unknown but between 2nd and 5th March 2023, Davies had carnal knowledge of his 9-year-old daughter who was left in his care while his wife was nursing her sick sister at Chinsali General Hospital.
Chinsali Senior Resident Magistrate, Webster Milumbe has found the accused guilty and committed the matter to the High court for sentencing.
