The first ever Shaolin Temple in Africa has now opened an orphanage of 20 children between the ages of six and 14 and targets to enroll 100 children by the end of the year.The focus of the orphanage is to teach children Shaolin Kungfu and Bhudism while shaping Zambian children into responsible citizens.A visit at the temple in Lusaka’s Ngwerere area found most construction works done and children training.Yan Ming Master of Shaolin Temple in Zambia and a teacher of Kungfu acknowledged that the training is strenuous but has huge benefits other than inculcating Chinese culture.
