The Lusaka High Court has heard that James Mulenga and Matthew Sikaonga, accused of abducting 13 young women in Lusaka last year, threatened the victims with black magic if they attempted to escape captivity.

In a statement read in court, the victims narrated that the two assailants raped them while other victims watched and forcefully injected them with contraceptives.

The victims disclosed that they were physically assaulted, tied, put in a sack and forced to drink alcohol.

One of the victims was abducted while two months pregnant and was in the company of her young daughter when she knocked-off from work.

She disclosed that the assailants physically assaulted her and had carnal knowledge of her while her daughter watched.

The daughter was later dumped at a police station while the mother remained in captivity.

Judge Charles Kafunda has set June 22, 2023, as the day for judgment.
