Some Copperbelt University Students who were left out during selection for bursaries have appealed to government to consider awarding them bursaries.

One of the affected students, Virgilio Kalimanshi laments that it is the third time he has applied for a bursary, but he has been left out.

Mr. Kalimanshi says education means a lot to him because he is the first one in his family to have completed a secondary education.

Mr. Kalimanshi adds that if his appeal is not considered, he will lose an opportunity to better the lives of his parents and the rest of the family.

The concerned student alongside his colleagues has vowed to spend a night at the Ministry of General Education until the minister Douglas Syakalima intervenes.
