The Zambia Community Board of Natural Resource Management Forum has disclosed that the government has in the last two years lost 64million kwacha due to cancellation of hunting concessions communities.

Forum President George Tembo says if not addressed the amount is likely to reach five million US dollars.

Mr. Tembo also claims that over one thousand scouts are grappling with poverty as they have not been paid their wages for the last two years.

But Ministry of Tourism Permanent Secretary Evans Muhanga has refuted the claim saying hunting has been going on and over 30 million Kwacha has been paid to the Chiefs and Scouts involved.
