Residents of Munkulungwe ward of Bwana Mkubwa constituency in Ndola are still faced with uncertainty following a failed attempt by a private company Mulberry Enterprise to demolish their houses.
The residents told diamond news that they are not at ease knowing that the company may send bailiffs to demolish the structures, which are said to have been built on company land.
And Munkulungwe Ward development committee chairperson Elvis Mutambo says demolishing of houses is illegal, stating that the matter is still in court.
Copperbelt Minister Elisha Matambo has called for the immediate stop to the demolition of houses.
