Lumwana Radiants Football Club Head Coach Bilton Musonda has resigned from his position with immediate effect.
Club Vice Publicity Secretary Caesar Silweya has confirmed Musonda’s resignation to Diamond Sports.
Musonda joined the North-Western Province outfit in April, 2021 and led it to top-flight football before parting ways with the club fighting to avoid relegation.
As of Week 30, Lumwana has amassed 31 points winning 7, drawing 10, losing 13 and currently sitting on the 16th position.
This comes after the team’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Forest Rangers Football Club in Week 30 of the elite division.
The Club is expected to announce Musonda’s successor with Former Napsa Stars Coach Muhammad Fathi being considered as his immediate replacement.
