President Hakainde Hichilema and six other African leaders have met with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, Ukraine Today.
The leaders led by South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, include Comoros, Congo Brazzaville, Egypt, Senegal, South Africa and Uganda.
And speaking after the meeting with President Zelensky, President Hichilema said their peace mission to Ukraine is not in competition with any organization or group.
President Hichilema says the African Presidents will tomorrow proceed to Russia to engage President Putin on the road to peace.
The Heads of States have agreed to engage with Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin on a ceasefire and lasting peace.
