A 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL MURDERED IN ZAMBEZI DISTRICT BY UNKNOWN PERSONS
A 15 year old girl and grade 11 Pupil at Kawumbu Day Secondary School has been murdered by unknown Persons in Zambezi District of North Western Province.
According to North Western Provincial Police Command, the following injuries were found on the body, a deep cut on the left side of left eyebrow, bleeding from the ears, bruised right leg, bruised buttocks and a discharge from the vagina while the rest of the body was found intact.
With strungulation marks and blood stains were observed at the scene.
Police says the incident is believed to have occurred between 25 February 2025 around 21:00 hours and 26 February 2025 around 08:00 hours in the bush along Zambezi- Chavuma M8 road near Makuya
Brief facts of the matter are that, on 25 February 2025 around 21:00 hours the deceased left the uncle’s place (MAKUYA village) and went to see her mother in the next Village across.
The body of the deceased was picked and deposited in Zambezi District Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem.
A docket of murder has been opened and no arrest made.
