FAZ AGM SET TO TAKE OFF AS STAKEHOLDERS DECIDE LEADERS

.

Over 80 councillors are expected to cast their votes for various leadership positions at the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Elective Annual General Meeting (AGM) taking place today, May 9, at Misuku Hotel in Kabwe.

Four candidates are in the race for the top job of FAZ President: Keith Mweemba, Adrian Kashala, Emmanuel Munaile, and incumbent Andrew Kamanga, who is seeking re-election.

The AGM, which was initially scheduled for March 29, was postponed after a court injunction halted the process.

Meanwhile, the National Sports Council of Zambia (NSCZ) CEO Sombwa Musunsa has directed that FAZ General Secretary Reuben Kamanga preside over today’s proceedings, insisting that the executive committee’s tenure came to an end on February 28.
