Former Minister of Community Development and Social Welfare Emerine Kabanshi has regained her freedom, two years after serving a jail term at the Lusaka Correctional Facility.
Ms. Kabanshi was imprisoned for failing to follow proper procedures in the execution of the social cash transfer program.
Zambia Correctional Facility Deputy Head of Public Relations, Mweemba Malambo, confirmed Ms. Kabanshi’s discharge in a telephone interview with Diamond News.
