A man has stabbed himself to death, after stabbing his wife with a knife, during a marital dispute in Katete.
The man’s wife, aged 22, is battling for her life at St. Francis Mission Hospital, in Katete District.
Nicolas Mwanza, aged 25, subsequently stabbed himself in the stomach after committing the crime.
Eastern Province Acting Deputy Police Commanding Officer, Kennedy Chibwe, says the wife is in critical condition, and is receiving treatment in the hospital.
Additionally, police in Sinda District have launched a manhunt for four people, for aggravated robbery and rape.
