President Hakainde Hichilema yesterday conducted a tour of Kwacha Constituency and walked with the locals in order to appreciate their challenges.

The Head of State also did drum up support for the UPND parliamentary by-election candidate Charles Mulenga.

During his spot interactions and checks, President Hichilema noted with concern challenges such as lack of safe and clean drinking water, and poor roads among others.

But Mr. Hichilema assured the residents who kept flocking from all directions that his administration will deliver the much-desired change adding that after just a year of being in office, the UPND administration has demonstrated that in a methodically way, the economy is getting fixed and jobs booming as lawlessness has been stopped and no cadres are harassing citizens in either public places or even at individual residences.

The people of Kwacha will this Thursday be electing their new parliamentarian following the nullification of the recent past seat holder.
