A 30-year-old Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Examination Officer, Philemon Dyamin, has been sentenced to 18 months simple imprisonment for causing a road accident that resulted in injuries to Chief Justice Dr. Mumba Malila.

The accident occurred along Independence Avenue in Lusaka, and the Chief Justice was hospitalized following the collision. Dyamin was found guilty of causing the accident and was subsequently sentenced by the court.
