President Hakainde Hichilema has acknowledged the deep rooted suffering of Zambians compounded by the energy crisis, but his assurances have sparked mixed feelings.
Reacting to the Presidential Address at the opening of the 4th Session of the 13th National Assembly, Lundazi Member of Parliament, Brenda Nyirenda says President Hakainde Hichilema has missed an opportunity to address pertinent issues such as the current acute energy crisis and ever growing cost of living.
The parliamentarians comment is among many voices that expected President Hakainde Hichilema to make clear policy directives to reduce load shedding so as save collapsing businesses and restore normalcy in households.
