A notice of intention to appeal the court decision has been filed by the UTH baby snatchers who were found guilty.

According to Precious Nkunika, a worker in the judiciary, and her mother Grace Siska, there was no proof presented in court that they had taken the child.

Ms. Nkunika was sentenced to five years in prison by Lusaka Magistrate Crispin Hampungani, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, for stealing a child from UTH.

While her mother received a two-year prison sentence for providing care for the aforementioned child.
