The Socialist Party has criticized President Hakainde Hichilema’s alleged nonchalant approach to the escalating cost of living in the country.
Socialist Party President Fred M’membe charges that the recently published Basic Nutritional Needs Basket by Jesuit Center for Theological Reflections – JCTR which stands at K9, 555 for a family of five in Lusaka is evidence enough of the UPND led government’s failure to run the country.
The Socialist Party President also alleges that President Hichilema’s statement on the Barotse Royal Establishment- BRE is indicative of how clueless he is on the matter.
Dr. M’membe has proposed an alternative system of governance that is inclusive of traditional leaders.
