Patriotic Front Acting President, Given Lubinda, has urged members of the party to use bereavements as an opportunity to mobilize the party since the government has been against its agenda.

Speaking during a press conference in Lusaka, Mr. Lubinda has advised members to attend bereavements in numbers.

And Mr. Lubinda has described the 2024 budget announced by the Ministry of Finance and National Planning as rhetoric saying it does not address domestic crises.

He says the Patriotic Front left the country at a better place but when the New Dawn government was elected into office, things got worse as can be seen with the escalating cost of living.

Meanwhile, Chief Government Spokesperson, Cornelius Mweetwa has expressed concern over remarks made by Mr. Lubinda advising members to mobilize at funerals.

Mr. Mweetwa has urged the Patriotic Front not to be opportunistic but sympathize with grieving families by giving them privacy and respect.
