Secretary to the Cabinet, Patrick Kangwa, has urged Permanent Secretaries to take presidential directives seriously to achieve the government’s developmental agenda.

Speaking during a meeting on the Auditor General’s Report for the financial year ending 31st December 2022 in Lusaka, Mr. Kangwa says directives made by the president must be acted upon with haste.

Mr. Kangwa has therefore, directed all Ministries to set up ministerial delivery units by 20th October 2023 which will guide on matters that should be prioritized.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kangwa is pleased with the reduction of misappropriation, misapplication, and abuse of public funds as revealed in the Auditor General’s Report.
