Over 30 Families have been left stranded in Lusaka’s Chalala area after being evicted from their homes by the bailiffs.
The affected families were evicted with the help of the police in the early hours of Friday around 01: 00 hours.
One of the affected people whose name has been concealed for fear of being victimised has told Diamond News in an interview that the said bailiffs are executing a 2021 court order.
He says it is believed that the land in question was, allegedly, illegally acquired.
Meanwhile, several people have been left traumatized over what transpired.
