Lusaka City Council Workers have resolved not to report for work due to four months salary arrears.
Zambia United Local Authorities Workers Union President Emmanuel Mwinsa says the employees have no means of reporting for work and as such it is resolved that they will not report for work anymore.
He says engagements with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development have not yielded any positive results.
Mr. Mwinsa adds that some of their members have been evicted from their houses as they cannot meet their rental obligations.
He says the workers will not be charged by management for this position as they remain protected.
