The Africa Draught Federation is impressed with the stellar performance displayed by Zambia’s 17-year-old Federation Master, William Chinzewe, at the ongoing Africa Draught-64 Championship in Lusaka.

Speaking to Diamond Sports, Africa Draught Federation Vice President Dan Isabirye says it is amazing that Chinzewe has amassed a high level of skill at a young age, minting two gold medals in the bliz and rapid categories played in the past two days.

And Zambia Draught Federation President, Raphael Lesa, is elated by Zambia’s overall performance, having minted 6 medals so far.

Meanwhile, Chinzewe is aiming to be crowned International Grand Master (GMI), a title to be granted to the winner of the classic championship, which will run till 15th July, 2023.

The Championship has seen 8 African countries participate.
