The Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries in North Western province have slaughtered 12 Heads of cattle that were illegally transported from Kabwe to Kalumbila district, contrary to the Animal health act No. 27 of 2010.
North Western Provincial Veterinary Officer Peter Banda says the transporter breached the conditions of a permit, in which he gave false information for the purpose of obtaining a permit, forged the permit and moved the animals based on the forged document and carbon copy.
