Opposition Political Leaders have urged government to stop using state machinery to intimidate their opponents.
Speaking at a joint press briefing in Lusaka, Patriotic Front acting president Given Lubinda says the continued detention and arrest of political opponents is unacceptable in a modern democratic dispensation.
Mr. Lubinda says people should not compare the Patriotic Front of being worse because it is the duty of the current government to change the narrative.
And New Heritage Party president Chishala Kateka says the harassment of political opponents goes against good governance.
