United Party for National Development UPND Secretary General Batuke Imenda has described Lusaka Archdiocese Fr Alick Banda as the Lucifer of Zambia who wants to divide the nations on political lines.
Mr. Imenda says the clergy is taking advantage of citizens by promoting the PF agenda, a party that promoted bloodshed and subjected citizens to terrorism among other evils.
He says Bishop Banda and Fr Salagenta are political conmen who will be considered political opponents from now on.
He says it is no surprise that the two clergymen would support each other in scandalizing President Hichilema out of the PF’s bitter loss in 2021.
But the Patriotic Front has advised the UPND not to start a war with the clergy, who represent the views of ordinary citizens.
PF Vice President Given Lubinda says all well-meaning Zambians should defend the church.
