Congolese musician Antoine Christopher popularly known as Koffi Olomide has denied assaulting freelance journalist Jean Ndayisenga.
He says he is not guilty of the offence adding that he got cleared by the police over the matter before coming to Zambia.
He said this at the Presidential burial site in Lusaka after laying wreaths at the grave of first Republican President, Kenneth Kaunda.
Koffi Olomide is in the country to perform a series of shows in Lusaka.
Prior to his visit, he was facing a bench warrant over his failure to appear before the Lusaka Magistrates Court over assault allegations against Mr. Ndayisenga.
