Some motorists in Lusaka are expecting the Energy Regulation Board to revise downward the pump prices of petroleum products for the month of April.

Elisha Sakala, a light lorry truck driver says lowering the price of the commodity will have a positive impact on his take home income.

Mr. Sakala adds that the fluctuating prices of fuel on a monthly basis are impeding effective planning of his business.

And, Isaac Ngoma, a bus driver is optimistic the newly converted TAZAMA Pipeline will help reduce the fuel pump prices to at least K17 per liter of diesel.

Meanwhile, Energy Expert Boniface Zulu says the pipeline will stabilize the supply of diesel and positively impact businesses thus help improve the cost of living.
