Trekking to hill tops for prayers is becoming an increasingly common practice among Pentecostal Christians in Lusaka, with many believing that it is the sure way in which God will speak to them.
Diamond media visited some hills near Heroes Stadium in Lusaka and found men, women, youths, and children armed with Bibles, engrossed in deep prayers and hymns.
The worshippers confessed that their Creator reveals Himself to them in prayer and shows them visions of the future.
One believer who had been sick without any cure has attested that from the time he was prayed for he has gotten better.
However, the mountain worshippers have cautioned that not everyone that goes to worship are Christians.
They claim that Satan’s agents also prefer praying at the mountains to gain evil power.
