The Zambia Police Service has urged members of the public to be wary of fake flat screen television brands being sold on the market.
The warning comes following an operation in Lusaka’s Central Business District in which police confiscated over 40 smart television sets.
Acting Police Spokesperson, Danny Mwale, has disclosed that the television sets were disguised as a known brand when in fact not.
Mr. Mwale says police are investigating the matter and two suspects have been warned and cautioned for the said offence.
