Correctional Service Commissioner General Fredrick Chilukutu says 19.5 million US Dollars has been invested on the Petauke milling plant in a bid to drive the agenda of value addition and food security.

Mr. Chilukutu says this is why the Correctional Service invested in about 250 hectares of maize, 200 hectares of soya beans and 50 hectares of other crops in Eastern Province in the spirit of agriculture diversification.

He says the target of the Correctional service is to ensure that the milling plant is up and running by May this year.
