Former Bremaharven Basketball Club Head Coach Michael Mai and Director of Player Development with the LA Clippers, Dave Severns have commenced a coaching clinic being held at the National Sports Development Centre (NASDEC).
The clinic is organized by the Foundation for Youth Basketball Promotion in partnership with A2Z Basketball Academy with the aim of building the coaching capacity in Zambia.
Speaking to Diamond Sports, Dave Servens and Michael Mai say the skill of Zambian basketball players will be positively impacted if more basketball courts were built as it will provide enough room for practice.
The coaching clinic which has seen 26 coaches attend will run from 16th to 18th January, 2023.
