About fifty percent of the 14,000 beneficiaries of the 2022- 2023 Farmer Input Support Program- FISP in Kazungula, are yet to receive inputs.

Many are still waiting for the top dressing fertilizer, urea.

A check at one of the depots found several farmers awaiting collection, amid accusations of alleged corruption.

In Chinsali, farmers continue to wait for Urea with Chinsali Central Member of Parliament, Kalalwe Mukosa, now urging the Ministry of Agriculture to expedite the process.

So far only 6,000 bags of Urea have been delivered out of the allocated 25,000 bags.
