Farmers in Kasama District of Northern Province have alleged that depot clerks are soliciting for bribes in order for farmers to quickly access inputs.
Moses Mutale a farmer of Chikosho camp in Kasama says it is disappointing that some people are being given inputs immediately they arrive, while he has spent nights waiting to be cleared.
Meanwhile Kasama District Commissioner Elizabeth Goma has warned both farmers and depot clerks that whoever will be found wanting will face the wrath of the law.
