Some residents in Mufulira District who are ex-miners have told diamond news that life on the street has been unbearable in view of challenges surrounding the two embattled companies.
One of the optimistic residents Gift Mwamba says assurances by President Mr. Hakainde Hichilema on historical commitment to fix problems in the two companies gives a ray of hope in the vast populations that had begun to lose faith of ever having their economic survival uplifted.
