Flash bus drivers in Lusaka have protested against continued harassment by political party cadres.

The confusion is said to be caused by suspected UPND cadres that are now demanding K40 from the previous K20 from every driver whenever a bus loads.

Capital Buses Managing Director Ishmael Kankara has expressed displeasure at the behavior of cadres, he says are frustrating the gains of desperate Zambians in high cost of doing business.

Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Gary Nkombo says his government will not tolerate cadres and has urged police to bring the lawbreakers to book.
