Minister of Sports Elvis Nkandu has revealed that the Zambia Draught Federation will be sanctioned if they fail to refund the money used in the unsuccessful Georgia outing.
Speaking to Diamond Sports, Nkandu says failure to repay the resources will culminate into the federation not qualifying for a grant which the ministry will be giving out to associations 2023.
He adds that the ministry will not condone misappropriation of resources by any sports federation or association.
This is in a case where the Zambia Draught Federation were denied entry into Georgia because the Georgian immigration were not aware of the team’s participation in the championship.
