The world football governing body FIFA has presented a letter and a ball to former Chipolopolo Captain Enock Mwepu as a sign of solidarity with the player.

Mwepu nicknamed ‘Computer’ hang up his boots after being diagnosed with a hereditary heart condition almost a month ago.

The 24-year-old who has been in the books of English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion since signing from Austria Bundesliga side Red Bull Salzburg almost two seasons ago has lain low from public life.

FIFA official Gelson Fernandes presented the ball and letter to Mwepu at his base in London in the company of FAZ President Andrew Kamanga.

Part of the visit is to explore possibilities of the future for the former Kafue Celtics midfielder.
