6,473 PASS NURSING AND MIDWIFERY EXAMS

A total of 6,473 candidates have passed the June 2026 Competence and Licensure Examinations out of 10,229 candidates who attempted the examinations.

Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia Registrar and CEO Beauty Zimba says this represents an overall pass rate of 63 percent, compared to 42 percent recorded in the December 2025 examination session.

Mrs Zimba says this represents a 21 percentage point increase in candidates’ performance.

She says 3,754 candidates, representing 37 percent, did not meet the required pass standard, compared to 58 percent in December 2025.

Meanwhile, 29 candidates had their examination papers nullified, while five were disqualified for non compliance with examination guidelines.

Monze Mission College of Nursing and Midwifery was the highest performing institution, recording a 100 percent pass rate.
