Zambia has qualified to the 2023 under 20 Africa Cup of Nations after a 3-2 postmatch penalty victory over Angola at the ongoing COSAFA championship Eswatini.

The two teams drew 1-1 in regulation time to take the game to penalties where Angola missed three with Zambia missing once.

They will now take on defending champions Mozambique who beat South Africa in the other semifinal.

The 2022 COSAFA championship is acting as qualifiers for the 2023 AFCON where only the top two teams will represent the COSAFA region.
